St. Joseph's Hospital

Diagnostics

When you need answers, we’re here to help—quickly and accurately. Our Diagnostic Imaging Department uses advanced technology to provide a full range of medical imaging services for patients and families in Southeast Saskatchewan.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., by appointment only.

X-Ray Services

We offer general X-ray imaging to help diagnose injuries, monitor conditions, and assist in treatment planning. Your doctor will provide a referral if an X-ray is needed, and appointments can be scheduled through our imaging department.

To book your x-ray, call 306-637-2417.

CT Scan Services

Our CT (Computed Tomography) scans provide detailed images of the body to help diagnose a wide range of conditions. Some scans may require an intravenous (IV) injection of contrast dye to highlight specific areas, making images clearer for the radiologist. We are also a primary stroke centre.

Once your doctor orders a CT scan, our office will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Our team consists of Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) with specialized CT training and a dedicated receptionist to assist with bookings and inquiries.

Coming Soon: MRI Services

We’re excited to announce that MRI services will be available at St. Joseph’s Hospital starting in 2026. This advanced imaging technology will allow for more detailed scans of soft tissues, organs, and joints, improving diagnostics for conditions such as neurological disorders, joint injuries, and certain cancers.

Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to launch this important service for our community.
