The Laboratory at St. Joseph’s Hospital is a full service lab and provides essential diagnostic services to the community, supporting both outpatient and inpatient care. With advanced technology and a dedicated team of skilled professionals, we deliver accurate and timely results for a wide range of medical needs.
Services We Provide
- Blood Transfusion – Safe and reliable blood services for those in need of transfusions.
- Chemistry Tests – Assessing vital organ functions, including kidney and liver health.
- Hematology – Blood counts and tests to monitor overall health.
- Urine Testing – For diagnosing conditions like urinary tract infections and kidney function.
- Inpatient Diagnosis & Care – Supporting critical care for hospitalized patients.
Lab Hours & Walk-In Services
Our lab is open for outpatient services from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with 24-hour emergency coverage available through on-call staff.
- Walk-in Service is available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for non-urgent appointments.

Online Appointment Booking
We’re excited to announce that beginning October 1st, patients will be able to conveniently book Lab appointments online through the SHA patient booking website.
- Every Tuesday, another week will be released (patients can book up to 3 months in advance).
- Wednesdays and Thursdays remain walk-in days.
- For those who prefer, appointments can still be booked by phone by calling the SHA patient booking system at 1-833-727-5829
